New York-based MetLife has launched a retirement income education center on MyBenefits, its employee portal available to group customers. The new center provides information designed to help employees identify their life stage with a checklist of materials they need to calculate their retirement income needs. New calculators enable employees to determine if their savings will last their lifetime; how much income they need, what the value of their assets is; and their estimated Social Security benefit. Also on the site: education on income annuities.
