The Workers' Compensation Solutions Division of Mitchell has released SmartAdvisor Premier Medical Reporting (PMR), a state compliance management and reporting solution. As a part of the SmartAdvisor Suite, PMR can reduce the complexities, fines and inefficiencies that insurers, third-party administrators and state funds might encounter when working to comply with state government regulatory requirements.
Mitchell describes PMR as a core compliance tool, using automated decision-making features and maintenance screens to provide medical reporting workflows. Key features of the new solution include a central repository; batch management; bill management; a bill history screen; and skipped/rejected error management.
SmartAdvisor PMR currently is in beta testing with several Workers' Compensation Solutions clients, says Mitchell. It also is deployed within the company's own Bill Review Service Center. The solution will be available to new and existing customers this summer.
