Mountain States Insurance Group Selects Accenture

Mountain States Insurance Group has selected Accenture’s Duck Creek P&C policy software suite. The suite will help the insurer accelerate its product development processes and enhance customer service. Duck Creek Policy Administration and Duck Creek Billing will be implemented as Mountain States’ core policy administration and billing systems.

Accenture says Mountain States also will use Duck Creek Templates, its product configuration software application, to help support rapid implementation and ongoing maintenance of Insurance Services Office-based (ISO) commercial lines and National Council on Compensation Insurance-based (NCCI) workers’ compensation products.

“At Mountain States, our focus is on our customers,” says Beau Irwin, Mountain States’ chief risk officer. “We need to be able to quickly adjust to new market demands and streamline internal processes, to achieve a higher level of customer service. After an extensive vendor search, it was clear that the modern technology and highly flexible configuration capabilities of the Accenture Duck Creek software would enable us to meet our goals.”
