Swiss telematics technology firm msg global solutions announced that its Telematics Analyzer, a software application intended to enable data collection, analysis and scoring of telematics-based driving data, now can integrate with any back-end system, including the SAP FS-PM policy management system and msg.PIA, msg global's insurance package for smaller insurers.
Msg said the integration points are designed to enable the launch, independent control and strategic development of its UBI products, including the policy, contract and coverage information that facilitates policyholder interactions.
Telematics Analyzer offers insurers a way to collect data from a variety of sources and conduct in-house, detailed analyses and telematics-based scoring calculations, msg said. And the product's scoring engine enables actuaries to develop custom telematics-based scoring programs, scoring models and individual usage-based rating models.
