Narragansett Bay Insurance Utilizing BlueWave Solution

Narragansett Bay Insurance Co. (NBIC) has completed the second and final phase in the implementation of BlueWave Technology’s PipelineClaims 4.2 software application.

PipelineClaims 4.2 comprises one of the core solutions in NBIC’s Project APEX technology initiative, in which NBIC is looking to modernize its in-house legacy systems. The project’s goal is to establish a highly advanced, flexible and nimble technology environment that will allow NBIC to deliver exceptional customer service, BlueWave says.

After deciding upon a best-of-breed approach for the project, BlueWave says PipelineClaims was chosen to help consolidate IT processes and create a more fluid, configurable claim workflow. Since the initial implementation in August 2010, BlueWave and NBIC have worked together to implement the full integration of PipelineClaims with NBIC’s other core solutions, says BlueWave.

The full implementation of BlueWave Technology’s PipelineClaims connects the various policy, document management, FNOL intake service and financial systems used by NBIC into a comprehensive whole that allows the entire solution to function more flexibly and intuitively, BlueWave says, adding that the overall training time reduction and cost savings allowed by PipelineClaims are expected to be dramatic, speeding claims processing and reducing IT expenditures.
