Nationwide's New Web Site Focuses on Customer Life Stages

Columbus, Ohio - Nationwide introduced a new look and feel for its main consumer web site, nationwide.com. The re-design represents the first phase of a multi-year overhaul, the company reports.

The prominent feature of the homepage plays off the company's 'life comes at you fast' advertising slogan - allowing visitors to see how Nationwide can help customers prepare for various stages in life and the financial challenges that come with them.

The improved site involves new visuals, streamlined navigation and information written in easier-to-understand terms. First-time visitors to the new site can take an online tour by clicking on a button in the lower right-hand corner of the home page.

The re-design consolidates the consumer-facing Web sites of some of the Columbus, Ohio carrier's core businesses, including Nationwide Insurance and Nationwide Financial Services, under a common homepage. Customers will find enhanced privacy protections, simplified navigation and increased accessibility. Customers can access their online self-service accounts with the same log on information they used previously.
