The National Conference of Insurance Legislators (NCOIL), Albany, N.Y., is restricting access to its Web site at www.ncoil.org. The new password system will privatize access to adopted NCOIL models and resolutions, NCOIL reports and issue briefs, and future NCOIL meeting minutes and meeting reports. Legislators from NCOIL-member states will continue to receive full access to the Web site. In addition, registrants at future NCOIL meetings will receive e-mail notification of temporary passwords, which will grant access to that conference's minutes and meeting report for several months following. Interested parties who do not attend an NCOIL meeting will be charged a fee for that conference's minutes and meeting report. Additional fees will be charged for adopted NCOIL models and resolutions, among other restricted documents.
