New York Life to Continue Hiring Spree

In the first week of September, which happens to be National Life Insurance Awareness Month, LIMRA released a report declaring a $17.5 billion sales gap in the life insurance industry, giving carriers proper motivation to use the rest of the dedicatory month to reach out to potential customers.

Accordingly, New York Life attempted a call-to-arms for unemployed industry agents by holding national sales careers days in approximately 40 offices throughout the country. The events emphasized the importance of providing insurance and financial guidance to families and businesses and attracted nearly 500 jobseekers.

"We expect many of these jobseekers to find success," said Mark Pfaff, EVP in charge of U.S. Life and Agency at New York Life. "Whether you're a teacher, coach, real estate agent, entrepreneur or a member of the military, New York Life provides the training and support services to help the right candidates establish their businesses."

Despite the fact that September has come and gone, New York Life continues to hire. For those unable to attend one of these events, a website providing information positions in life insurance and financial services for individuals at all stages of their professional development, as well as opportunities in management, can be found by clicking here.
