Old Republic Selects Courion Governance Application

Old Republic National Title Insurance Co., a title insurance group, has selected Courion ComplianceCourier as its access certification application. Courion is an identity and access management company.

As a public company, Old Republic must comply with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) reporting requirements, answering the question of “who has access to what.” This required IT department manpower and time spent collaborating with line-of-business managers, extracting user access information that was compiled into spreadsheets. The manual data process was susceptible to errors.

Old Republic will be able to centralize and automate the access control process. This will reduce the risk of unauthorized access. ComplianceCourier’s reporting interface will allow the company to audit existing access by user, application, administrator, group or workstation and meet SOX compliance requirements. IT operations will have increased efficienty, freeing staff to focus on other tasks. The application also will help the company consolidate its active directory structure.

With ComplianceCourier, Old Republic can gain clear visibility into user access. Access control can be improved and access review processes streamlined, said the company.
