PMC Insurance Group Hires New VP

PMC Insurance Group, a national workers’ compensation insurance wholesaler, announced the appointment of Bob Jones as VP. Jones will share responsibilities for expanding PMC’s agency management plan and revenue growth, specifically in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. His role also will include management and oversight of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of NY/PMC Insurance Group endorsed workers' compensation program.

Jones has 30 years of experience in the insurance industry—the majority of which was spent on the brokerage side of the business. He comes to PMC from North Carolina-based InStrategy Group, where he served as managing director. Prior to that, he held senior-level sales and marketing positions with several national carriers, including EBI, Royal Sun Alliance and Travelers.
