Polaris Financial Technology announced the launch of Intellect Agent Workstation (AWX) at the recently held annual ACORD LOMA Forum in Las Vegas.

Polaris’ Intellect AWX is designed to improve operational efficiency and quality of engagement for insurers. It seamlessly integrates with existing business systems, with the right focus on modern technologies. As a suite comprising of the Intellect Agent Portal and Intellect Agent Mobility, Intellect AWX aims to deliver real-time customer management, collaboration and streamlining of insurance sales cycles.

The agent portal is designed to reuse the knowledgebase existing in a carrier’s legacy core system. According to Polaris, they focused on bringing all the functionalities required by an agent or call center representative into one solution, encompassing CRM, sales support, calculators and illustrators, automated underwriting, policy and customer management. The design also aligns with the bring-your-own-device trend employed by large carriers with different distribution channels, the company said.

The solution is offered across iOS, Android and Windows 8 operating systems, and is designed for tablets, phones, hybrids and desktop.
