Principal Deploys iPipeline to Expedite Distribution

Principal Financial Group has selected iPipeline’s cloud-based iGO Drop Ticket software to streamline the distribution of its life insurance products, the company announced today.

iPipeline’s software enables agents and customers to work together in order to quickly quote insurance products and submit tickets for processing. Principal's agents will now submit tickets with basic information while intermediaries complete the rest of the information gathering process, freeing up agents to sell more, according to the life insurer.

The drop ticket system will be used in conjunction with Principal’s accelerated underwriting program to help quicken the issuance of a policy. Electronic completion and e-Signature is said to also speed up the process. The new tech is available to support Principal sales in all states with except New York. Principal joins the likes of Erie Insurance, Assurity and Gentworth Financial as iPipeline customers.
