Progressive has selected Accenture Duck Creek's policy and rating software to support its commercial P&C lines. The goal is to make it easier for independent agents and customers to do business with the company.

Accenture Duck Creek is aligned with the business direction we are pursuing and offers the configuration, product design and rating engine we feel is best able to handle our business needs now and in the years to come.”
The insurer selected the application because it offers a common platform for policy, underwriting and rating, Accenture Duck Creek said, and due to its product configuration toolset, which is intended to facilitate rapid product deployment and improve customer service. Accenture Duck Creek will offer Progressive a “single point of change” for managing product and business rules across its online, agency and call-center channels. the vendor said, and is intended to enable Progressive’s customers to access their information through their preferred channel.
