Prudential Financial Inc.'s Group Insurance has launched a new online and interactive voice response enrollment application for optional term life, dependent term life, and short- and long-term disability coverages. The enrollment process is simplified by an automated application, which retrieves all necessary personal and plan information from a database, and presents users with plan-specific products and coverage limits. The process is also easier for employers, who only need to provide name, date of birth, social security number, salary and employee class-and do not need to review for evidence of insurability.
