ADOBE UPDATES ITS LIVECYCLE ENTERPRISE SUITE

Adobe Systems Inc., San Jose, Calif., has updated its LiveCycle Enterprise Suite (ES), a host of solutions for automating processes that let financial organizations better engage customers, clients and partners. LiveCycle users now get free Solution Accelerators-solutions designed to provide banks, insurance companies and investment organizations with a way to rapidly roll out processes that help reduce costs, shorten turnaround time and improve customer interactions.

According to Adobe, these two Solution Accelerators address specific needs found in the industry:

* Enrollment Solution Accelerators speed the capturing and processing of data required to sign up customers for new accounts, insurance policies, etc.

* Correspondent Management Solution Accelerators enhance creation and delivery of more personalized communications, such as account confirmation, policy updates, inter-office communications, etc.

These sets of tools, working with the updated LiveCycle ES, are designed to help financial organizations expedite the deployment of enrollment and correspondence management applications.

GUIDEWIRE RELEASES CLAIMCENTER 5.0

Guidewire Software Inc., a San Mateo, Calif., provider of technology solutions, released Guidewire ClaimCenter 5.0-the latest version of its claims system. ClaimCenter is designed to enable carriers to improve their claims adjusting processes, reduce claims costs and enhance customer service.

ClaimCenter 5.0 delivers more than 25 major enhancements to insurers, according to the company. Version 5.0 is designed to enable Guidewire's customers to further improve their claims operations by: improving efficiency throughout the claims lifecycle with better claim intake screens and management of damage and repair assessments; improving usability for claims adjusters, supervisors and all end-users with new user interface; measuring the quality of service providers with new service provider management functionality; reducing fraud and "leakage" with new fraud scoring capability; lowering costs with addition of subrogation lifecycle functionality; and improving the ability for IT to respond to system change requests with new graphical configuration tools, including drag-and-drop functionality.
