EagleEye Analytics, Columbia, S.C., a provider of predictive analytics and information services to the property/casualty insurance industry, has launched Verisight, a residential property underwriting solution.

Verisight is a Web-based workflow solution that operates in a real-time environment, aggregating third-party data and images from multiple sources. Verisight is designed to save insurance companies time and money by streamlining traditional underwriting practices. When the data gathered by Verisight indicates that additional information is required to render a confident underwriting decision, a field inspection can be automatically provided by Advanced Field Services (AFS), a Columbia, S.C.-based subsidiary of EagleEye Analytics.

Verisight will be marketed through EagleEye Analytics and Advanced Field Services, and includes a core electronic property report (EPR) containing: public record and third-party information, a replacement cost valuation, a statistical market valuation, an insurance-to-value score, a rules-based automatic field survey upgrade feature, a property location map, and the most recent satellite and aerial archive imagery.

Irvine, Calif-based iStor Networks Inc., a provider of iSCSI storage solutions, has started shipping its new management interface, integraSuite/MC Management Center.

integraSuite is designed to provide setup, storage provisioning and allocation. The interface requires no storage expertise freeing network administrators to focus on user needs. iStor's storage virtualization technology eliminates the requirement for managing individual RAID groups and their LUN configurations. Instead, iStor says, integraSuite presents a pool of storage that is easily carved up into individual customized volumes, dramatically reducing administrative, support and other operational costs.

Operational costs influence total cost of ownership more significantly than acquisition costs, and can be reduced by easing the management and administration of storage, and by sharing storage and increasing its utilization-two key integraSuite features.

iStor's virtualized storage supports multiple RAID levels across drives, allowing the storage quality-of-service level to be tailored to each individual application, a key benefit in the mixed workload environments created by virtualized servers. integraSuite also facilitates flexible storage configurations by managing integraStor's storage virtualization engine, which can fully utilize all drive capacity in a pool of mixed drive configurations, the company says.

Chordiant Software Inc., Cupertino, Calif., released a new generation of case management capabilities for the global enterprise. Chordiant enterprise case management (ECM) puts the customer at the center of enterprise operations to ensure global brands in the insurance and healthcare markets can focus on providing an exceptional customer experience, the company reports.

Chordiant ECM is intended to sit at the hub of an enterprise and provide a central mechanism for tracking customer cases, work items and historical interactions across multiple lines of business, product groups and applications, including existing non-Chordiant applications. It also, according to the company, determines and initiates the business steps that need to be followed to fulfill each service event.

Chordiant ECM gives customer-facing personnel a full, historical view of the customer, and ensures that the appropriate next steps are taken to deliver a seamless, complete and appropriate customer experience every time.

Chordiant ECM is designed not only to manage and distribute all customer information, but it determines the "next best action" for each customer case, initiating the business steps required to complete that action.

These steps can be fulfilled by a user, or automatically by the system. For example, if an account goes into collection, the system will automatically recommend and initiate the appropriate next step to be taken.
