Ravello Solutions, an Atlanta-based insurance software provider, announced the release of Ravello Billing. Built on a modern, flexible, standards-based architecture, Ravello Billing is an extension of Ravello Policy and Claims. While the system can be purchased and implemented as a standalone, the billing process is integrated into the Ravello Policy and Claims modules to ensure that all policy lifecycle and billing events are tracked and logged.

The system can handle Out-of-Sequence Retroactive Billing, which enables insurers to collect earned premium. This assures that all earned premium is billed and collected, preventing insurance companies from having to report earned and uncollected premium to regulators, according to Ravello.
