SEEC UNVEILS COMPONENT LIBRARY FOR LEGACY MIGRATIONSEEC, Inc., a Pittsburgh-based application management firm for the insurance and financial services industry, has developed the SEEC Advantage Library, a compilation of non-proprietary, pre-built business software components for the insurance and financial services industries. The Library is designed to enable companies to flexibly migrate from complex legacy structures to a service-oriented architecture model. It includes more than 100 software components that can be deployed independently or together, and is built to industry standards (ACORD-XML, Java, WSDL) to avoid the risk and costs of proprietary vendor lock-in. The Library also leverages existing portal, middleware and BPM investments.
