For twenty years, Digital Insurance has been honoring the women who are leading every aspect of the insurance industry through its Women in Insurance Leadership program. They are the innovators, visionaries and champions who are forging new paths in a rapidly changing industry. This year, 16 women were chosen for this recognition.

Each of these individuals demonstrates a strong vision for their organizations; the willingness to learn; the ability to communicate effectively; shows empathy and concern for their co-workers and customers; values integrity, as well as creativity; and displays the boldness to share their convictions and to be authentic. For the first time in its history, honorees were ranked on five specific criteria:

1. Size and scope of their job (small department vs. company-wide responsibilities)
2. Innovation brought to her role and responsibilities
3. P&L performance for her area of responsibility (growth metrics as they relate to the job done)
