P&C insurer The Hartford has launched “My Benefits,” a mobile app that enables customers covered by its disability plans to manage their claims on mobile devices. The app is available for free download from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Consumers can open a short-term disability claim, update personal data and check the status of thier claim, including payment information with the benefits app, which also features definitions and benefits details to help customers navigate through the claims process.
“Our focus on ability, not limitations, has driven our pioneering approach to disability insurance for more than two decades,” said John Urankar, SVP of group benefits and workers’ compensation claims for The Hartford. “This app is our latest resource to empower consumers and help them return to an active, productive life after an unexpected injury or illness.”
