Towers Perrin, a global professional services firm, announced the hiring of Steve Levene as practice leader for its retail insurance brokerage business. He is based in the firm’s Stamford, Conn. office.

In his new role, Levene will lead Towers Perrin’s efforts to bring the firm’s analytical and brokerage capabilities to market. His responsibilities will include the development, implementation and oversight of strategic risk management programs for corporate and public entity clients.

“Steve brings a wealth of brokerage and risk management experience to the firm, and we are delighted to have him leading this important strategic growth area for Towers Perrin,” said Jamie Hole, EVP of the firm’s reinsurance brokerage business.

“Steve has a reputation for extraordinary client service and laser focus on client issues, which both fit very well with our culture,” added Bill Eyre, managing director of Towers Perrin’s reinsurance brokerage business. "He also recognizes the value of analytics and consultative support that clients increasingly need, which plays to our strengths as a firm."
