Hartford, Conn. based Travelers Property Casualty has launched an online capability to enable independent agents to access real-time customer billing information and payment history. This functionality is an alternative to calling Travelers' customer care center or an automated response phone line. According to Travelers, agencies that helped pilot the online function have provided positive feedback. The electronic billing inquiry is the newest offering of the Travelers Agency Portal, the company's online site for independent agencies to access systems, forms and applications. Registered agencies can access the new billing function at www.travelersagents.com.
