Zurich Insurance, a multi-line insurer, is using a MicroStrategy Mobile app that helps ensure transparency of operations and compliance with financial regulations. MicroStrategy Inc. is a company offering enterprise software platforms.
Zurich's mobile analytics app was developed and deployed in a few weeks; it integrates Solvency II reporting and internal reports to support industry regulator reporting, the company said. The app enables controllers and management to swipe and tap their iPad app, and then analyze year-over-year trends on global claims data by time period, geography and line of business using actuarial methodologies. The insight gives Zurich the ability to investigate complex claims patterns and report on this data to meet Solvency II requirements.
