Allstate announced that Christine DeBiase will join the company as its executive vice president, chief legal officer, general counsel and corporate secretary. DeBiase, who was most recently at Brighthouse Financial, will lead the company's law and regulations, and sustainability strategies. "Chris is a great addition to our leadership team as we transform Allstate into a digital protection solutions company and advance our sustainability strategy," said Tom Wilson, chair, president and CEO of The Allstate Corporation, in a statement. "She has deep insurance and regulatory experience combined with a forward-thinking and collaborative leadership approach. Chubb appoints Darryl Page as its vice president, Chubb Group and chief culture officer. Page will oversee the company's culture and its diversity, equity and inclusion strategy. Page, who has 35 years of experience in insurance and most recently led Chubb's international personal lines business, is returning to the company after retiring in July 2022. "Darryl is a proven, successful leader who brings deep experience and a strong understanding of our culture and the issues surrounding diversity, equity and inclusion. He has lived the issues his whole career and is the face of Chubb culture with strong communication skills and empathy," said Evan G. Greenberg, chairman and CEO of Chubb Limited, in a statement.
Sasha Pryor is the new head of customer success at MassMutual's Haven Life. Pryor will lead the customer success teams to support customers through the life insurance buying process. Mitch Ocampo, head of Haven Life, said in a statement: "Being able to provide households with a simple and accessible way to secure life insurance is the driving force of Haven Life. Neptune Flood has named Matt Duffy, who currently serves as the company's director of risk management and internal audit, its chief risk officer. "Matt has been instrumental in helping develop the next generation of our AI risk engine, Triton, and in building a risk apparatus that will help Neptune manage its next phase of growth," said Trevor Burgess, Neptune's president & CEO, in a statement.
Next Insurance hires the first chief insurance officer. Chris Rhodes, who previously worked in leadership roles at Farmers Insurance, will focus on product development, claims automation and profit management. DeWayne Anderson has been named the first diversity, equity and inclusion program manager at Newfront. Anderson will lead the DEI council and support the company's various employee resource groups. Branch has hired its first chief people officer, Pratiksha Patel, who most recently worked as the senior vice president of people at CB Insights.
