Campbell, thought by his company to be the best spokesperson for the campaign, will voice the truth about the truck insurance business in a series of commercials entitled “Gut Check,” according to 1st Guard.
The Gut Check campaign is designed to uncover truck insurance secrets, for example, physical damage policies that have a limit on towing expenses. Unfortunately, says 1st Guard, truckers learn this after they are forced to pay the difference, which could put them out of business. Owner-operators should know the policy terms up front and not be swayed by an inexpensive rate, says 1st Guard, adding that its physical damage policy will pay towing in full after the deductible is paid.
