Workers' compensation holding company Accident Fund Holdings has named Mitchell Walsh director of strategy and operations. He last was VP of insurance servivces at Texas Mutual.
Walsh will lead the strategic efforts of the holding company and its brands to identify business opportunites and revenue-generating initiatives and innovations, the company says.
Walsh has a background in insurance IT. While at Texas Mutual, he served as VP of Loss Prevention & Underwriting Systems and also held various management positions in IT application services. He also worked in Motorola's Enterprise Architecture Group before joining the insurance industry..
