Alfa Mutual Insurance Co. has partnered with Cigniti Technologies, an independent software testing services provider, to establish a dedicated test center of excellence (TCoE). Alfa says the multi-year, multi-million-dollar contract is the latest step it’s taking to enhance its technology.
“Creating a test center of excellence enables the company to improve the quality of our enterprise applications,” said Ron Wilson, Alfa’s VP of quality assurance. “By partnering with Cigniti, we were confident we could create a quality model that focuses on increasing the efficiency and transparency of the entire QA organization.”
Cigniti will leverage its testing methodology in building Alfa’s TCoE, said Sanjay Jupudi, president Cigniti. The phased approach will use Cigniti’s process framework to ensure that Alfa’s short-term and long-term QA needs are met, he said.
Alfa and its affiliates provide insurance and other financial services in 11 states. Its property and casualty companies service more than one million policies.
