AMFAM Selects Correlsense SharePath System

Correlsense, a provider of IT Reliability solutions through  business  transaction management (BTM), announced that American Family Mutual Insurance (AMFAM) has selected the  Correlsense SharePath solution, designed to ensure peak performance and availability of the insurance company’s online insurance quoting system.

“American Family Insurance strives to offer our customers a productive and rewarding online experience,” said Barbara Johnson, capacity planning manager for American Family Insurance. “Consumers go to insurance sites for a number of reasons, including insurance quotes. Maintaining a quality  customer experience as we implement new technological enhancements is of critical importance to American Family.”

SharePath is used by enterprises to monitor business transactions, rapidly pinpoint and solve performance problems and gain unprecedented insights from detecting the correlation of end-user experience, applications,  infrastructure and business processes, Correlsense says.

Additionally, SharePath is intended to work in concert with the other system and performance management tools already in place at American Family, which typically are focused on identifying problems at individual components (servers, databases, etc.), to provide a complete business transaction perspective that can be used for both proactive planning and  problem resolution. It also can determine the browser rendering time for all individual transaction activations. This enables the breakdown of real user measurements to every last transaction segment in the data center.

“Business transactions touch many layers of infrastructure and applications across wide networks, with downtime and poor performance directly impacting revenue, brand and customer loyalty/retention. With SharePath, if a problem occurs, IT will know immediately where, why and who is affected, and can immediately correct within the proper business context,” said Oren Elias, Correlsense CEO.
