AmWINS Group, a distributor of P&C and group benefits products and services, has hired Todd Atwood as the firm’s CIO. Atwood will lead the company’s information technology team.
AmWINS said Atwood is a 20-year veteran of the corporate banking and finance community. Prior to joining AmWINS, he served as a senior VP and chief architect executive at Bank of America.
AmWINS said it always has viewed technology as an important part of its commitment to clients, markets and employees. The addition of Atwood reflects a commitment to technology. Finding the right team to work with was equally important for Atwood, who said he liked the cooperative environment and dedication to the community at AmWINS.
