Appalachian Underwriters Inc. (AUI), a commercial, personal and specialty insurer, has deployed the Quicksolver Enterprise policy rating platform for its workers’ comp line of business. Quicksolver is a product of Instec, a provider of P&C insurance platforms.
Instec says Appalachian Underwriters wanted functionality that would mitigate compliance risks and streamline operational tasks. Quicksolver is designed to be delivered onsite and through Appalachian Underwriters’ web portal, which handles thousands of agent submissions daily.
Appalachian Underwriters is hoping that the purchase will enable them to decrease time-to-market for new programs and deliver a level of self-reliance previously unavailable with the company’s legacy system, says Instec.
