He has held staff leadership roles in five associations over the last 26 years. Most recently, he was executive director of the National Association of Quick Printers.
Parry Becker says Johnson immediately brings to ASCnet skills in staff and volunteer leadership, meeting and trade show management, financial management, strategic planning and implementation, membership recruitment and retention, internal and external communication, new program development and marketing.
“As a chief executive, Steve has worked closely with an engaged volunteer board and committee members to create a vision, strategic plan and a corresponding plan of work that delivers increased value to the membership,” she says. “He understands the challenges facing small business and is committed to providing them with education and resources to help them be successful.”
