Assurity Life has selected iGO DTC (Direct to Consumer) to provide a consumer-facing tool to kick start the buying experience online for disability insurance. iGO is a product of iPipeline, a marketing, selling and processing solutions company for carriers, distributors, producers and financial professionals.
iPipeline says data about the consumer and product of interest is captured via an online short form, delivered to an Assurity distributor for screening, and submitted electronically to a home office interviewer who engages the consumer to complete the process.
iPipeline adds that the consumer can access the solution at the distributor’s site, explore disability insurance options, view a quote, and complete the process by filling out a few brief web forms. Insurance producers are provided with a tool to tap into an underserved market, offering consumers convenience and, ultimately, serving the underinsured.
