Effective immediately, Littlefield will head the Des Moines, Iowa-based Aviva USA division, which sells indexed annuities and life insurance products in the United States. He reports to Thomas Godlasky, CEO for Aviva North America, who leads the U.S. life insurance and annuity business as well as the Canadian property/casualty businesses.
In his previous role as COO, Littlefield lead the company's insurance administration, information technology, marketing/brand and corporate affairs divisions, among others.
Littlefield joined AmerUs Group in January 2006 as an EVP, general counsel and secretary, and was promoted to Aviva USA COO in February 2008.
