The insurer will use iPartners' P&C insurance data model, as well as data integration and business intelligence front-end reporting.
Bear River was looking to solve three business challenges, according to Brian Long, VP of IT.
"First, we needed a P&C focused data model, properly structured and designed as our foundation for reporting," he said. "Second, we needed a data warehouse to combine data from multiple disparate sources. And finally, we needed best practice business content and analytics focused on our lines of business."
SNL was picked largely because of "flexibility and customization of the model," Long concluded.
