Canal Insurance Co., a commercial trucking insurer, has selected BillingCenter to manage its billing operations, including agency bill. BillingCenter is a product of Guidewire Software Inc., a provider of software products to P&C insurers.
BillingCenter is a billing and receivables management system built on automation, control and flexibility, Guidewire said. Canal wanted to update its billing platform to better serve its agents and customers. BillingCenter delivered the vast majority of Canal’s functional requirements. Canal has implemented BillingCenter across all of its lines of business and its agent distribution channel.
BillingCenter is enabling Canal to provide a billing process approach integrated with internal and third-party systems, Guidewire said. The solution also allows Canal to standardize billing practices on a single, company-wide system; and use accurate system data to make informed business decisions.
