Capital Insurance Group has appointed John Halberstadt as its new chief information officer and vice president, the company announced.
Halberstadt joined CIG in July 2015. As CIO, he will be responsible for establishing CIG’s information technology strategy and managing all of the P&C insurer’s IT resources.

Halberstadt was previously SVP of customer experience innovation at Next IT, CIO of United General and VP of information technology at Fidelity National. He brings more than 20 years of senior-level technology experience to the position.
