Catlin Inc. (Catlin) has selected Insured Rating, a product of ClarionDoor LLC, provider of hosted rating software to the insurance industry.
According to ClarionDoor, Catlin selected Insured Rating because they wanted a web-based rating solution for its managing general agents (MGAs), as well as online access to underwriting manuals and documents. ClarionDoor will provide development of a branded user interface, rates, algorithms and an ACORD XML web service for both general liability and commercial property.
ClarionDoor adds that Insured Rating is designed to operate, perform and scale exclusively in the cloud, and can rate any line of business, algorithm or transaction type.
