Centene Corporation has named Mark Brooks its new SVP and and chief information officer.
Effective immediately, Brooks will oversee the development and implementation of all information technology and systems for the multi-line healthcare insurer. He brings more than 25 years of technology experience to his new position, including 12 in healthcare.

Prior to his appointment, Brooks was most recently CIO of Health Net, which became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Centene on March 24. Over his tenure at the California-based organization he also served as CTO and vice president of applications development.
