Changes to Montpelier Re Holding’s Board of Directors

Clement S. Dwyer Jr. has resigned from Montpelier Re Holdings Ltd.’s Board of Directors, effective September 30. Montpelier Re Holdings is a provider of short-tail reinsurance and other specialty lines. The board has appointed Michael R. Eisenson to fill the vacancy resulting from Dwyer’s resignation, who has served on the board since 2006.

Eisenson currently is the CEO and a managing director of Charlesbank Capital Partners LLC, a private equity firm. He also is a director of BlueKnight Energy Partners, CIFC Corp. and Penske Auto Group, Montpelier adds. Charlesbank currently controls about 9.3 percent of the company’s outstanding common shares.

“We are grateful to Clem for his many years of wise counsel and support, and we wish him every success in the future,” says Christopher L. Harris, president and CEO of Montpelier. “We are also pleased to welcome Mike Eisenson to our board as our newest director.”
