The City of Albuquerque, a self-insured municipality, is now in production with ClaimsVISION, an automated, user configurable, Software as a Service (SaaS)-delivered claims administration system. ClaimsVISION is a product of PCIS, a provider of policy administration and claims solutions.

The Risk Management division of Albuquerque is using ClaimsVISION to handle all claims for the city, including workers’ compensation for city employees, general liability, professional liability, commercial auto liability, and property, says PCIS.

PCIS adds that the City of Albuquerque is able to use a single, common platform for all claims; produce Medicare reporting; provide a workflow through integration with other systems; enable users to directly report losses via the internet; leverage business rules to capture best practices and drive operational improvements; and produce robust reports via the ClaimsVISION reporting module.
