Liberty International Underwriters (LIU) will provide CloudInsure clients with an insurance platform designed to address the risks associated with cloud computing technologies. CloudInsure is a cloud insurance platform for emerging privacy and security risks within the cloud environment.
CloudInsure says its underwriting models and proprietary analytics allow the new LIU cloud insurance platform to distinguish the company as the first primary insurance carrier to offer both insurance capacity and coverage tailored to users of cloud computing network environments.
CloudInsure adds that, through LIU, its clients will have access to insurance protection for the data being stored in the cloud. The LIU Data Insure products allow policyholders to work with a consultant to access pre- and post-loss support services, including pre-loss risk management, post-loss computer forensics, credit monitoring and restoration, data breach notification services and legal advice.
