CNA Financial Corp., a commercial insurance writer and P&C company, has appointed Christopher Leisz as SVP & chief underwriting officer for specialty.
Leisz will take on the oversight and governance for specialty products within professional services, financial institutions, management liability and health care.
Leisz joined CNA with more than 13 years of insurance industry experience, says the company, most recently serving as midwest regional executive for Hiscox USA. There, he was responsible for production growth, marketing, distribution strategy and account management. Prior, he led development of its Management and Professional Liability suite of products and also held roles with American International Group Inc., including time as a coverage attorney.
