CNA Financial Corp., commercial insurance writer and P&C company, has entered into a multi-year relationship with IGATE Corp., a company offering integrated technology and operations-based applications.
The partnership will allow the implementation of transformational technology and best practice processes. This will advance its claim and policyholder administration in the long-term care (LTC) business.
IGATE will provide claim support, policyholder services, and customer service. CNA will be responsible for claim eligibility and decision making. IGATE will administer CNA's LTC business through its proprietary and differentiated IGATE Business Administrative Solution.
"Since my appointment, we have made it a top priority to focus on the strategic and operational management of the long term-care business," said Al Miralles, president of CNA Long Term Care. "To that end, we believe IGATE's technology, experience and scale will enable us to optimize processes and better serve our policyholders."
