Confie Seguros, a national personal lines insurance distributor, has acquired Baja Auto Insurance, provider of auto insurance throughout Texas. Baja was founded in 2006 with a single store and since has grown organically and with two acquisitions to 59 offices.
"We are very pleased to add Baja's 88 locations which solidify Confie's footprint in the Dallas area and greatly strengthen our position throughout the state,” said Valeria Rico, CEO of Confie Seguros. “Baja has grown rapidly, and we are pleased to welcome the company's approximately 200 employees who will help us continue our growth in Texas. Our pipeline of potential acquisitions remains robust and we look forward to completing additional acquisitions that will broaden our geographic reach."
Confie has acquired more than 80 businesses since 2008 and has grown to become a national retail organization with more than 650 offices.
