Core Vendors Tap Partnerships to Improve Customer Experience Offerings

With insurance companies looking to compete in a digital world with the likes of Amazon, iTunes, and other online retailers, their core systems vendors are tasked with delivering advanced digital customer service capabilities.

To that end, CSC and Majesco announced partnerships this week with other technology companies. CSC announced a strategic investment in, and distribution relationship with, 360GlobalNet, a UK company that offers self-service claims processing capabilities, live streaming video and big data analytics. And Majesco added SPLICE Software, which creates and refines automated communications.

CSC will have exclusive worldwide rights to resell 360Globalnet offerings, as well as systems integration services.

"Our collaboration with 360Globalnet will contribute to our strategy of growing CSC’s insurance business and further extending our portfolio of next-generation solutions,” said Phil Ratcliff, vice president and general manager, CSC’s Global Insurance Industry. “Putting the insurers’ customers in control of their own claims, while delivering an engaging user experience, improves customer satisfaction and retention rates."

Meanwhile, SPLICE joins a Majesco partner ecosystem that includes several vendors offering enhancements to core insurance processing.

“Enviable customer experience is a must- have in all insurance service segments and by working in partnership with SPLICE, we will be able to offer our customers the next level of truly personalized service for their customers," said Majesco COO Ed Ossie.
