CSR of the Year, Others Share Agency Management Tech Use

The winner of the National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research’s 2010 Outstanding CSR of the Year, along with three of four finalists for the award, works in an agency that operates with Applied Systems agency management solutions. Kelly Whitener was named the 2010 Outstanding CSR of the Year for her work at an agency on Inc. Magazine’s http://www.inc.com 2009 list of fastest-growing privately held companies, according to Applied Systems.

Whitener is a commercial accounts manager at Senn Dunn Insurance in Greensboro, N.C., which has used Applied Systems’ flagship system, TAM, since 1993. Finalists Barbara Golden with McConkey Insurance & Benefits in York, Pa., Tammy Harris with Brotherhood Mutual Insurance Co. in Fort Wayne, Ind., and Amanda Williams with Maverick Insurance Agency in Cold Spring, Ky., work at agencies that use Applied Systems agency management solutions, says Applied Systems, adding that Kristina Donaldson with Messer-Bowers Co. in Enid, Okla., also was a finalist.
