Dearborn National’s Worksite and Individual Solutions division, which focuses on voluntary benefits through payroll deduction, federal, postal and military allotments, state and local government payroll systems and individual bank draft billing, has opted to adapt the Thunderhead NOW platform, a customer communications management system.

Thunderhead said its NOW platform will be integrated with a new policy administration system, which is intended to improve operational efficiency and provide a personalized customer experience.

The NOW program, an XML-based system designed to be supportive of industry standards, will help Dearborn National eliminate the cost of keeping up with changes to desktop word processing tools, according to Thunderhead.

Thunderhead also said its program will help Dearborn National reduce stress on the company’s IT staff by streamlining its communication process, and will allow Dearborn to cut down on mail and print costs in the future.
