DocuLex Lauds Program as Disaster Prep

DocuLex is now offering its Archive Studio program as cloud software option as “disaster recovery preparedness” service. The Archive Studio SaaS, supported by a component of Archive Studio called WebSearch, is designed to provide offsite access to data when a business’ operations are interrupted.

The company explained in a release the reasoning for pushing the program as a disaster prep service, stating “Every business should plan for how it would continue to operate and access their documentation in the face of interruption from a variety of natural or manmade hazards.”

The Archive Studio SaaS is said to provide permissions, printing and distribution, secure warehousing, colleague collaboration, and allows for Internet access to documents without the responsibility of owning a document management system.
