DTRIC Insurance Consolidates with DRC’s DecisionMaker Rating Enterprise

Honolulu-based Decision Research Corp. (DRC), a rating and policy processing software solution provider to the property/casualty insurance industry, reports that DTRIC Insurance, Hawaii, is in production with its DecisionMaker Rating Enterprise product. DecisionMaker Rating will be used by DTRIC, which provides workers’ compensation coverage to many Hawaii businesses, to consolidate rating services for both its policy administration system and third-party quoting application, eliminating the need for duplicate maintenance costs and effort.

“DecisionMaker Rating Enterprise allows us to have a unified rating service for both our direct and agency quoting,” says Ron Toyofuku, president and CEO at DTRIC. “Not only does the system eliminate the duplicate effort, but DecisionMaker also allows us to quickly and easily make rate changes with little if any support required from our IT organization. With less reliance on our technical resources, our IT staff can focus their time and effort on other projects throughout the DTRIC organization.”
