Farmers Insurance Recognized for Education

Los Angeles — Annette Thompson, VP of marketing operations at the University of Farmers was awarded Learning Leader of the Year for her leadership, organizational commitment, vision and ability to deliver organizational results during the International Quality and Productivity Center Conference held at the Disney resort in Orlando, Fla.

The University of Farmers was founded in 2003 by Farmers Insurance Group of Companies as an educational facility for Farmers agents, claims personnel and district managers.

"The CUBIC (Corporate University Best in Class) Awards recognized the University of Farmers as one of the nation's leading corporate universities," explains Mike Cuffe, assistant VP of claims at the University of Farmers. "

In addition, CUBIC presented the University of Farmers with its Best Evaluation Technique award, recognizing three major areas of corporate learning success, including an increase in new Farmers agent success rates, improved claims file quality and accuracy and increased customer service satisfaction, according to Cuffe.
